Bidding Rules
Please read these rules before you pay. They apply to every claim and every boost.
1. Rankings are per category
Each category has its own independent leaderboard. Your rank is your position among visible listings in that category only.
2. Total paid sets the rank
Listings are ordered by their total amount paid (all successful claim and boost payments, minus anything refunded). If two totals are equal, the listing that claimed first ranks higher.
3. Minimum bid and bid step
The minimum payment is currently $1. To take a rank that someone holds, your total must be higher than theirs by at least $1. These values are set by RYWEX and may change. The checkout always shows the current requirement.
4. The server decides the price
Amounts in links or forms are only suggestions. Before creating a payment, our server checks the amount against the live board. If the board changed and your amount is no longer enough for the rank you chose, the payment is not created and you are asked to review your bid.
5. Your position is set when payment is confirmed
Your rank is calculated only after Razorpay confirms your payment on our server (signature or webhook verification). If someone else's payment is confirmed first, you receive the rank your total earns at the moment yours is confirmed.
6. Being outbid
If someone takes your spot, you move down. We email an outbid alert if you gave an email. Payments are final: nothing is refunded and no compensation is paid when you are outbid. Your listing keeps its full total, and you can boost it at any time.
7. How long a position lasts
Positions don't expire. A listing keeps its total until it is outbid, removed for breaking our Terms, or taken down at the owner's request.
8. What you are buying
A place on a public leaderboard and a public profile page. You are not buying reviews, guaranteed traffic, sales, or a verified badge. Featured and sponsored placements are always labelled and never change the ranking order.
